While Lakely struggles with internal feelings, and Tanner revists some ghosts of his past, Carter feels the need to take it upon himself to hunt for his missing friends. Little does he know he is also sending his friends deep into the mine of horrors, where his friends have been fighting for their lives. When Tanner finds them and reveals the truth, a serious issue comes to light.
