Patterns are designs that show the same thing over and over. When shapes or colors are repeated, we see a pattern. Some patterns are made by people, and some can be seen in the world around us. Some patterns are made with colors and lines. Other patterns are made with words or numbers or sounds. What patterns can you see and hear?

Can you whisper with a very quiet voice? Some animals don't make any noise at all. Do you know which animals have no voice? What else is very quiet?

Tyrannosaurus Rex was an enormous dinosaur that lived on earth millions of years ago. T Rex was probably the fiercest of all the dinosaurs. We know what the dinosaurs were like because people have found their bones. Artists have made models and pictures to show what they looked like. What do you know about T Rex?

We all need to use numbers in our lives every day, for counting and measuring and shopping. As well as being fun, playing games is a good way to get quicker at working with numbers. We can try to work out puzzles and tricks more quickly than our friends. There are good ways to count fast, too. Sometimes we even count down like space rockets!

What is a life cycle? A butterfly goes through four stages in its life. It changes into something different each time. It starts as a tiny egg, and later it becomes a chrysalis. More changes happen inside the chrysalis, until at last a beautiful butterfly is ready to fly away.

We are living in the Space Age. What do we know about space? The Earth is our planet. It is in space with many other planets. Scientists are still discovering new planets. People have always seen the sun, the moon, and millions of stars. But now space is being explored. We can learn about the size of the planets and what it is like to travel in space.

Do you know what pirates look like? Where do they go? What do they do? Why? In this story, there is a good pirate called Smiler, who has a parrot called Stickybeak. They play a clever trick on the bad pirates.

Have you been given an invitation? What was it like? An invitation to a party is usually written on a card or letter so that you will know exactly where and when it will be. What would happen if you couldn't remember the time or the place?

We like pockets on our clothes. Have you got a pocket? What is in it? What else do we put in our pockets? What do adults put in their pockets?
