Chase and the others crash land in the jungle where they are joined by Jon Ace, freshly resigned from S.T.O.R.M., and on the run himself. Unbeknownst to them, they are being hunted by the crazy Dom Pyro of the Eklipse Organization.

Under constant drone attack, Jon Ace warns Chase that he has a spy in his midst and invites him to join S.T.O.R.M., which Chase accepts. Without Chase, tempers flare among the rest of the Core-Tech team, but soon, Chase changes his mind.

Desperately in need of key information to help them on their quest, our heroes travel to Mandala, to the Ancient Library of Tebab, where they become captured by the evil Bookman, and encounter a young controller named Beyal.

After desperately attempting to regain his Monsuno Sight, Beyal falls into a catatonic state. Concerned, Chase and the gang take Beyal to Master Ey at Tiger's Lair, who tells them that they must travel to the icy Cave of Convergence.

Jon Ace leads the team to a mining operation where he, Jeredy, and Klipse originally extracted and researched the meteor fragments, hoping Chase might discover clues to his father's whereabouts. However, Jon Ace has his own agenda.

When Chase receives a garbled message from his father asking him to meet, our hero cannot resist. Chase then heads out alone to the meeting's location, an abandoned facility, only to find Darkspin and Medea waiting for him instead.

Chase and the group, along with the Dawnmaster, One-Eyed Jack, and his Desert Wolves, all become trapped in Dr. Klipse's lab. Dr. Klipse has developed weapons of mass destruction powered by a new Monsuno Fusion Core Reactor.

Our three heroes venture into the big city of Axistown to search for a lead on Jeredy. Soon they meet a wealthy old woman who sends them into the Underground on Jeredy's trail, but the Underground turns out to be a Fight Club for Monsuno.

As Chase and the group contemplate rescuing Jeredy and Ace from Dr. Klipse, Klipse reveals his ultimate plan to Jeredy. If Jeredy wants to save his son, the good doctor must perform his own scientific experiments. On Ace.
