A flock of dodos comes through the anomaly and the docile birds bring a deadly parasite with them. Connor's suspicious friends tail him and steal one of the dodos, but when one of them is bitten, they must find him before he can infect anyone else.

Some cute but surprisingly dangerous burrowing creatures called Diictodons nearly cause a disaster at a hospital when an anomaly opens from the Permian era. Calamity is averted by the team, which manages to get the creatures back to their own time while simultaneously delivering a human baby. When a giant spider attacks on the London Underground, Cutter's team descends into the maze of tunnels to investigate. However, there are more than spiders lurking in the darkness and soon the team comes face to face with an even more ferocious predator.

Connor unveils the new anomaly detector, but the team is caught off-guard when a saber-toothed cat is seen roaming around a theme park. When a man snaps a few pictures of the beast and uploads them to the internet, Jenny must deal with the media fall-out.

When the anomaly at Johnson's headquarters reopens, Sarah and Becker head off to check it out. Helen decides the only way to stop the destruction of life on Earth is to stop humans ever evolving and goes back in time to kill Hominids, the very first humans. The rest of the team must stop Helen at all costs.

When an exhibition of ancient Egyptian relics comes to the British Museum, an anomaly opens in a mysterious monument called the Sun Cage. A creature emerges from it - a kind of monstrous crocodile that can run on two legs. The team is joined by the ARC's new Head of Security, Captain Becker, and an archaeologist from the Museum, Sarah Page. The race is on to track the creature down before it hits the streets of London.

Claudia's existence has been completely erased and Cutter is the only one who knows. As he grapples with her sudden disappearance, a deadly raptor runs loose in a shopping mall. The team must get it back to the past before it kills again.

The team discovers that Helen has been keeping a zoo of ancient creatures in secret, and when the cages open, all of humanity is in danger. With everyone's life on the line, drastic measures must be taken and sacrifices must be made.

The team faces one of its most unusual and dangerous of threats, a deadly flesh-eating fungus. The fungus literally takes over any human who comes into contact with it, turning the unfortunate victim into a hideous shell of their former self, intent only on spreading the fungus further. Can the team find a way to stop it before it is too late?
